RB26DETT into a 1995 240sx
I'v got a 1995 240sx, and i saved up about 60,000 for a major overhaulin. I want to put the rb26dett, thats not a problem, ill just fab up some motor mouts and other mods, But my real problem is that i also want the All Wheel Drive system that comes in the Skyline, I need to know what kind od Mods i need to do. I understand that this problem's solution may be hard to solve over a car forum, thanks
here is what you need to do, get all the components for the swap, like all the SKYLINE, not 240SX, ABS equpiment inc sensors, the GT sensor, the pump, the reservoir, the ETS computer, then rebuild the floor to accept the transfer case, adapt the MacPherson Strut front end origionally installed on the 240SX to the upper/lower control arm front end from the Skyline without destroying the delicate balance of the suspension geometry, make sure the front diff and rear diff have the same gear ratio, make new motor mounts to correctly place the motor to line up with the new front hubs, adapt the frame to allow the front axles to pass....should I go on?
this in itself is going to be a $10,000 to $15,000 task...if you don't do the job yourself.
Just get an R32 GTR with the 60K and throw some mods at it.

Hey, i appriciate your guys help, the reason for not owning a skyline itself is the left hand drive factor, But i think it might be easier to just buy an R34 i found in Toronto CANADA (where i reside) and just change it from left to right, Its only 41K and its Completely stock, its in really good shape, it was in a car museum, im buying it tommorow, Again , thanks for your help.
