RB26DETT swap 240sx?

Just wondering what the min. cost would be to do this swap, DYI, just parts, can an RB26 trans be used?

I know Mckinney did it, but they want like $10+ P & L!

Also what is the MAX boost you can run on stock turbos, w/ proper fuel/tuning??
Is it possible to get 400RWHP,stock turbos?

Its ganna cost you man, there are quite a few ways you can go threw. The engine itself, a good 5k. Mounts so you can stick with the stock TT set up, 700 dollars. RB25 trans and oil pan, like 700? Wiring, I dont think you even wanna touch that your self man, 400? Plus etc, a good 1k. For any parts you need to replace or add on, a good 8k doing MOST of the stuff yourself. I really wouldnt wanna do the wiring myself, unless i really knew what I was doing.

The RB26 trans can not be used, need a RB25 trans and oil pan as stated above. Max boost and etc. dunno...talk to mckinney bout that.

i think 400 would be easily attainable on a bpu rb26. wiring would be pretty simple, nothing too difficult, you just have to find what wires are what, after that it's simple.

All the RB pinouts are supposed to be the same, with blank spots where some of the functions aren't used. 10k sounds about right for a swap in a shop...probably comes out to 6-7k in parts. Front clip, RB25 tranny (suddenly in high demand) and oil pan, d-shaft, mounting, wiring...
