Not sure if I understand .. What harnesses need to be connected.. I figure if I have sr20 harness with matching ecm.. Then that would be one harness that needs to be connected to corresponding sr parts???

This is from Phase2motortrend, don't know if it will help at all:

S15 SR20DET:

We do not recommed installing the S15 SR20 motor due to high cost and time consuming install. S15 utilize a somewhat capable 6spd transmission with their speed sensor relocated to the rear differential. Be sure to get the complete rear end and drive shaft along with the S15 motor package, otherwise install will not be complete. The ignition coil is further advanced compare to S13/S14 SR20DET with the ignitor chip built into the coils, so one will not find/need the ignitor chip found in S13/S14 SR20DET. One can also upgrade to the S15 SR20DET ignition coils provided they are capable to wire it into their existing S13/S14 SR harness. We can perform S15 installs, usually price is about $500 more than S13/S14 install. Also speedometer is not compatible with S13/S14 gauge cluster yet until we figure out how to make the signal compatible with the S13/S14 gauge cluster. However air conditioning and the rest is not a problem.
