Hey guys im a new 240 afficionado so i ned some info. I have an 89 with a KA and my girlfriend just wrecked her 92 infinit G20, she was rear-ended so the engine is ok, her engine runs great and purrs like new so I was wondring can i swap the engines? Is it worth the effort? i beleive hers is an SR20DE correct me if im mistaken. Any input would be apprecitted. So can yall drop some knowledge on a brother?

 

Its front wheel drive. No its not going to work. Junk it.

 

Duh thanx i didnt even take that into account, does trhat really matter when it comes to the engine, i could see the tranni but the engine?

 

Yeah the front drive isn't the same, you can get DE swaps from Japan pretty cheap, and they install really easy, but the FWD one is a completely different configuration.
