Unhappy SR problem.......

I had my Sr20det in my car for about 6 months. Recently, i got a problem with it. When i step on gas in second gear, the car seems like don't want to run....like there is something pull it from the back. The rpm rise slowly and the speed rise slowly. But the boost reading is rising. If i release the gas a little bit, it will accelarate slowly. Anyone knows what happen in my car?

Yeah, but the MAF would be happening in every gear. When the MAF is bad or disconnected, your engine will run like crap or not run past about 2800-3000 RPM's...so it wouldn't just be happening in 2nd gear.

if it can rev to 4k no problems, the MAF is not the issue. But we need to know more of what is going on with your car before we can actually diagnose something.

could be, but I don't know why you would only have a problem in 2nd gear.

so what exactly is your car doing? When you try and accalerate it doesnt... and when you take your foot off the gas it continues to accalerate?? I think the situation needs some clarification bro

i mean...when i fully step on the gas, the car doesn't accel, but if i release 90% of the gas, it will accel slowly. it does not always happen but sometimes....
