Well, since my first sr20det motor was a big failure, im getting a new long block to restart my swap project, I was thinking about getting a higher output altenator, since I will have it out and be changing other things on it, thermostat and gaskets, water temp sender, spark plugs, mainly the basic parts to change!

Does anyone know where I can get one from that is around 110 amps?

This is for a sr20det redtop!

I have everything needed to finish the swap, except for a few small parts that I can get off EBay!

Reason for asking is that in the near future, 3-4 months, I'm installing my mtx 9512-44 sub and a mtx 81001 amp, for my stereo system, and its a power hog.

sub is:
1000wrms

the amp is:
500wrms @ 4 ohm
1000wrms @ 2 ohm <--- I'm going with this setup here!
1500wrms @ 1 ohm

bridge 2 amps:
2000wrms @ 4 ohm
3000wrms @ 2 ohm

1000wrms / 12v = 84 amps

not much, but I have to think of the Engine Management System, the Dual 12" Fans, the gauges (not much power here), etc., etc., etc.
