SR20DET install problem?

Ok so my friend and I put a S13 SR20DEt red top into his 95 240sx, and everything seems fine, but the temp gauge is reading constantly hot, like overheating, was there something we were suppose to swap from the KA?
I mean this car doesnt feel at all like its over heating, pulls strong!

o yea baby im am sweet. chech this out man same guy in super street magazine having the same problem i will type the article out for you. its short so dont worry.
actually i will just give you the answer.
the water temperature sensor on the s13 motor, although it plugs right into the s14 harness, it sends out a different signal then the s14 gauge cluster is programmed to receive. thats why very often or once in a while, the water temp will read at H but an exturnal gauge will read at normal. sometimes your car will run horrible bacause your ECU thinks the engine is to hot. to fix this all you have to do is source out a S14 water-temp. sensor and swap and swap it with the S13 sensor and your should be fine. hope that is helpfull.
Matt.
