sr20det swap and 5spd conversion 4000 ??
i'm just wondering if thats a good price.. i just found a shop here in el paso very close to where i stay and they told me that price .. oh and thats for a black top.. he told me a week and i'll drive out of there with it in there.. what else should i ask and is that a good price ?? thanks for the help gooroos pimp and hoes.. haha

yeah he said for the black top and everything to make it run it's 4000 and they do the work.. so i think it's aight for the black top.. i was thinkin about a red top which i've only seen for 2500 for the red top alone..i dont know thats why i'm askin.. seems good to me

thats the only thing i'm worried about .. i need them to do it right .. but they have lots of other business there too.. and they have clean facilities to work in.. they even let me walk back in the mechanics shops with all the cars. soo i think it's ok i 've got some time before i got the money for it .. so i'll still be lookin but looks good for now .. thanks alot ppls yalll some real damn pimps

Sounds like a good deal to me.
I would just be sure to have a knowledgeable person come with you to pick the car up and check the compression of the motor, etc.
Also, make sure you get something in writing that says you will be getting a complete swap w/ic for that price. Try to get them to agree on an acceptable compression for the motor that you will leave with. I beliebe 155psi is about right for an SR, but you will want to verify that with someone who knows.
If $4k is your out-the-door price for a running, solid SR then it's a good deal.
If they start at $4k and then tell you the clip didn;t have an i/c and want to add $1000 to the price, and then say the clip didn;t have an ingnitor, MAF, Ecu and other stuff and want to charge extra for it then it is not a good deal. If $4k includes the side mount and they offer to uprage to a front mount for an extra $800 or so, it's still a good deal and they're not trying to screw you.

guesssssssss whattttttttt!!!!! i found another shop in el paso that will do it for even cheaper.. 4000 in one shop was going to get me a black top with nothin just the swap and the tranny.. now 2600 will get me the swap.. and 300 for the tranny.. so thats 2900.. still cheaper.. then a 300zx fuel pump. 200.. thats 3100 still cheaper.. changed timing belt blow off valve turbo timer and front mount intercooler. grand total.. 4500..hmmmm oh wait i'm not done.. 6 month warranty. and racing doesnt void the warrenty...i'm sorry i've got to think about it .. nottttttt. it's way better to come to this second shop.. and he has the red top in the back and showed it to me.. then he told me about a drift event commin up... i found my second home.. pimp pimpp impip pimp pimp pimp
