Stay away from www.jrautoparts.com

Ok, so I am installing an RB25DET for a guy who bought his clips from www.jrautoparts.com and what a crappy clip. He paid $3500(inc shipping) and got a clip that had the VIN numbers on the firewall burnt off(just holes where the numbers should be) no BOV, no intercooler, no radiator, cut radiator hoses, no MAF, possibly a blown turbo(puked oil when I pulled the intake pipe off) NO ENGINE CROSSMEMBER!!! Thats right, the oilpan is flat on the pallet, dented to hell!!! He was promised all the front suspension & brakes, they arent there... The ignition cyl was ripped out...I think this clip was stolen in Japan....

I will post some pics up here later, but beware...they dont want to do ANYTHING for him except send him the rotors and calipers stating that "it is a used motor, what do you want?" and that I should "stop crying like a little ***** about all the little nick-nack stuff." If you want to get a horrible clip and no service after the sale, buy from www.jrautoparts.com today!!!

Thanks for allowing me to waste your time with my rambling.

Jon

Yeah, I know...I hope that the motor fires once I get an AFM for it....I am gonna try to run it NA and see if it at least will idle...then I will worry about the BOV, the intercooler and the rest of the piping...

I will keep you all updaed as this progresses.

Thanks!

That sucks. And I don't agree that's what to expect for $3500 shipped. Looks to me like a theft recovery junkyard pull that was sitting awhile, probably cost them about 50,000Y(about $500) With the oil like that in the turbo it's toast, and probably full of oil to the point where it's running out of the intake

We have a bunch of SR right now but no RB25's. We sold a RB to a forum moderator in Texas, and ever since they've been gone before they even get here. The last RB clip arrived last thursday, at 2am friday the buyer hit the road and was here to pick it up at 9am.

BTW: Hyjynx is it cool to refer some of our items here if people ask questions as long as I don't put "FS" adds? Like refering to our customers swaps and their 1/4 times or HP?
