im planning on swapping in a redtop sr20 into my 91 240sx, i was wondering how much boost and whp the stock block can handle.

 

Search around....Not sure but I guess 300-350 max.

 

Umm stock bottom ends can go over 200 more than that.

 

Seriously....wow, i feel like a genius. Ahhhh, let me bask in the glow of my knowledge. ok im done. That was short. It's was pretty common knowledge that the sr internals could withstand up to 400hp. Wouldn't recommend just flipping the boost switch to 30 though because a few bolt on's are required like rocker-arm stoppers (sr's throw rocker arms at high rpm's like the midget on starsky and hutch throws knives), bigger injectors, etc... You know the rest. The sr is built like a brick ****house when pushed.
