thinking of saving for ca18det.

I"m thinking of saving up money for a ca18det.. i found one for 900 dollars with everything and 5spd trans.... when i get one.. I would to use aftermarket engine internals but I'm having a hard time finding them.. i been searching for 3 days on yahoo.com and google. Can someone please fill me in where i can find aftermarket internals for the ca18det. thanks.

The ******** forum has CA specific threads and are very helpful. But why are you trying to make soo much power, that is a rediculous amount of money to spend, and the stock internals are good till about 400HP, why waste more money. on a smaller motor. If you really want 700 go with an Rb series. If you want a quick rev happy motor go CA but don't expect a easy super car. Good price on the CA I might add... where from? I am getting mine in about a week and I can't control myself I am so excited to get it, good luck with your swap and I hope all works out great!

I don't want 700HP.. i'm just saying i seen a link with a guy running a ca with that much power.. If i go ca.. i want about 450-500HP. thats all... I know it takes a lot of money to build up a ca for more power but to me its worth it if u wanna show off and feel great about yourself. LOL

Projectmy240, i've been researching the CA as well. Good thing i made progress. Look at TakaKaira.com as well as RareTrick.com. I've found a few internal parts on both sites, not much however. I just bought and recieved my Silk Road Coilovers from Drew at RareTrick.com. Very nice guy and very helpful...
