Go to www.mustangforums.com. All you need to do is go to yahoo and type in mustang forums and you will get your answer. Not very hard to do.

If you are talking about putting a V8 into a 240 then you will not get much help here. First, people on here haven’t done it and second because it shouldn’t be done. If you want V8 power, buy a mustang or build a nice little 240.

And while ur at it, why don't you put a Wankel on a mustang. then you can get a civic and put and F-14 turbo jet engine. We can race them all and see which one makes the ugliest sound!

I dont see why you guys arent open minded enough to actually think about the possibilities of swapping a V8 into a 240. But stick with either an lt1 or a ls1, definitely dont go the ford route. A V8 powered 24o would be alot easier to mod and would smoke pretty much anything on the street.

Even though I would never do it...

Cool, this was my 100th post!!!

I'm not, "un"open to it... i just dont think ford is a good motor to go with, and there's tons of custom fabrication that needs to be done. I know a guy who might drop a v8 into an s14
