It fits in the coupe, but not the fastback.

I'm trying that swap now with a VG30DE. It's gonna be turbo'ed but with a single turbo....the block has no problem fitting in my S14. Lots of custom stuff to make it work

You are in waaaaaay over your head. Check out twinturbo.net and ask them how to do a single turbo on an N/A vg30de and be prepared to be flamed.

Wierd, I've seen a guy go twin turbos on a VG30DE so why wouldn't you be able to single turbo it?

Just ask your question on the twinturbo.net technical board. Turboing an N/A is ridiculous, especially with a single turbo. Using a tt motor is hard enough. Im not saying it can't be done but its a lot of $$$ and a huge headache. You have a built bottom end, what compression are you running? Also 300zx's have two intakes how do you plan to split the pressure into the two equally?? TT's can make over 800hp with 2 turbos, why would you want just one.

i'm running 9:1 comp. why i'm single turboing it is because of space reasons. a single in double out intercooler will feed both intakes. it can be done, i know it will take a lot of time but this is a project car i picked up for a HELL of a deal. right now the time and money doesn't concern me, i can fab most of the stuff myself
