What's the diff between a Redtop and a Blacktop??????

hello everyone,
iam new to this forum, and iam thinking of buying a 240sx maybe a newer version like 1997, and i was wondering what's teh difference between teh redtop and blacktop sr20det motors, and which one should I get if i wanted to get alot of power of the car maybe around 300whp.
Thanks, I appreciate anyone that could help me on this.
