And that is YOUR opinion and you are entitled to it....

I also am not totally for turboing an NA motor, I turbo'd my MX-6, granted it is a v6 which is a lot more work and lot less room. But there are so many little things to take into account, a completely prebuilt package is an attractive option.

For me I am still shopping for a 240 and have not settled on a s13 silva or s13 180sx or s14, and even further is the engine choice. The engine will be upgraded right after the purchase, and the RB's turn me on because of the skline heritage and the 6cyl sound. Plus being inline there isn't the space problems I had with my V6.

My 2 cents (opinion)

I think some motors shouldnt be turboed but the Ka can handle the boost from a turbo, if you do it wright.

Well, of those options, looks like you'll probably end up with an S14. (Seeing how they didn't import the first two)

My mind keeps changing the more I read, but as of right now, I am looking for a 1995 S14, and probably a RB25DET in a front clip, ryan has some nice ones.
I was shocked to see how cheap front end conversions are for the s13 and s14, I remember how expensive it was for the G3 integra to do a jdm front end.
I want one of those too, lol.

My 1st choice would be a Zenki s14 with a turboed Sr or Ka or Na Ka. And my 2nd would be a s13 240sx fastback with a Sr and ooww!! 180sx taillamps!!

So far I've had a Ca18Det, Sr20det, Ka24e and de. The Ca is fun to beat on. The Sr is alright above 3000rpm. But the Ka's have bigger ***** than the other two below 3000 for more daily driving. Now mix that with better internals, and engine management and boost it,that should not be as bad as blowing your Sr or Ca up and rebuilding them with all that stuff anyways. I'm trying a Ka-T now.

Gotta love that flat torque line starting at 2k rpms, hahaha. I wanna go KA-T once I learn enough about turbo systems and about my car, and once money permits

People dont just drive their cars around going "yooo im getting rid of it ill beat the **** out of it"

the reason that they get rid of the cars is because of japanease used cars taxes after 4 years the cost to register the car is worth more than the car so they sell it very cheap.

Most are imported to new zealand, fiji, ect.

while the ones in accidents get salvaged.

my motor is a 1998 type x motor that came 100% oem with 27569 on the odometer.

it just depends whether you trust your importer or not.

this is done by the japanease goverment to push new car sales and the peoples expense.

Prob around 6-7 boost so low 200-250 hp at the wheels. To changes the pistons you're gonna have to open the whole engine, not the most fun job out there, lol.
