Your opinions please

So there is a member of our 240SX community that asked me to wire his RB26DETT motor into an S13.
I did the work and sent the harness back in RECORD time.

Turns out he sent me an R33 harness for an R32 engine in an S13.

It wouldnt work and now I am being threatened into giving the money back for the work. I am being told that alot of bad publicity will come my way if I dont refund the money.

I am of the opinion that I was contracted to make the RB harness work in the S13. I did that

His opinion is that I should have made it work with the R32 engine also and that I did garbage work because it didnt fire right up & he had to do some more work to get the thing running.

I offered to do the work again FOR FREE if he got an R32 harness and I feel that is enough on my part.

Your opinions please.

I get alot of that too John, tell them to stick it up their A$$. There's always some all knowing moron who can do the swap better themselves and save themselves all that money, then they blame my engine or something when it doesn't work. I've learned that there are just some people that make the idiot light go on and it's best to see it early and refuse to deal with them-period. We have some moron who bought a SR clip from us here in town, and it was only running on two cylinders. I listened to it and said it sounded like it was out of time or had some wires crossed up. Oh no, the motor is bad, the ecu is bad, etc, etc, etc. Turns out they extended the ignitor wires to mount it on the same side as it was in the front clip, and got #1 and #2 switched. This was 2 months later after they told everyone we sold them a bad engine blah blah blah. What kind of moron gets a R33 harness for R32 and has to have someone modify it? The R32 swap into the S13 is cake for wiring.
