Some help please.. need opinions...

hey ppl.... i was planning to set my car up for drift/grip.. and i was planning on getting some sways bars for better handling, but i was told that i shouldn't get sways because of too much understeer and that some ppl couldn't tell the difference between stock and aftermarket ones... is it true???
