I have a buzzing noisecoming from my car and have no idea what it is. Its coming from a white box with a 10 mm bolt in the middle by the fuse panel in the kick panel on the drivers side. Wheni rev the engine it stops it only really does it when it idles. The E brakelight stays on all thetime and the batterylight flickers. When i loosened the bolt it stopped by the turn signals goes fast like the bulb is out and the headlights dont pop up. I have no idea what that box even is...anyone had this problemor know ho9w to fix it?!?! Sorry forpunctuation...i have a messed upkeyboard any help would be great thanks

 

Anyone got anything? Imight have posted this in the wrong section but im not sure where it would be i ran that ecu diagnostic and it read 13 when the car was on but no running and i found that it was the engine temperature sensor unit...i have NO idea what thatmeans so some one please helpme or atleast tellme what it is...Its a 1992 dohc motor in a 1990 body. It did it in the original car as well before i swapped the motor it was still buzzing. I tried finding the fsm but whenever i try downloading it it never comes up for either years...please help!!!

I think its the alternator but im not sure ill be swapping it out tommorow and if that doesnt work ill be checking a few relays...this is what its doing

The brake light stays on constantly...even when the ebrakes down...as well as you can see the battery light flickers...its a new battery...
The noise is coming from thw white box i flashed a light on. If you listen close you can hear it as well as when i rev the engine you hear how it almost goes away...anybody anything?

 

Just try replacing that box. Go to the junkyard and snag a new used one. As for the e-brake that may be another issue. Try topping up your brake fluid. The parking brake light staying on is the low brake fluid indicator. There is also a switch on the handle that can go bad.

 

Thanks somuch ryguy.I actually fixed thatlight flickering it wasmyalt going bad and the buzzing went away. As for the gauge cluster i have a weird one((ebay special)) With the 9k rmp's and the 180 km/h speedo. I think theycall it the 180sx cluster. Anyway, its the light that looks like (!) So i think that's it. Other then that anyone with this problem its the alt going. Nowi just need me t3 turbo to be set up but thats a new thread. =)
