electrical question

electrical question

hey guys, i just got my car back but the front driver side blinker doesn't work, i changed the bulbs but that didn't help. is there a fuse i gotta check or something? plus my back light for my gauge cluster is out. do i have to cahnge the bulb in the back, or is there a fuse for that? can u guys help me out?

there is a 7.5a fuse, but i doubt only one side would go out if it were blown. make sure the bulb and all the connections are good. might want to check the relay too

What was done to the car that you just got it back from? If all the lights in the gauge cluster went out, thats most likely a wiring problem.

hmm

well i had just got the car back from getting my wiring harness done. not all the lights in the cluster are out. the little red led lights turn on, and the clock light comes on, but not the gauges. i had only engine work done. so the shop didn't have to do anything behind the dash (as far as i kno)

You have a bad ground somewhere, or possibly the hot wire to the lights. There are 3 bulbs back there, not to mention the bulbs in the HVAC control. Sounds like they messed something up with your harness. Try grounding the wire to the gauge backlights.

thanks for the input. i am going to have to change the gauge cluster anyways. my tach doesn't work. but i will check it out. thanks.

im also haveing the same problem
i just replaced the wire harness after it rubbed against the front driver side tire

and now i do have gauges, brake lights, nothen i do have radio and rev limit in the fuse panel

im goin nuts heres and on top of that im about to do motor work

any help here would me great i did a search on wire diagrams butt found nothin

^ look for the factory service manual. more wiring diagrams that you know what to do with.
