S13-S15 installation walkthru
Hey all, this is my first post here, but I'm sure some of u know my from other 240 forums
I just wanted to post up my walkthru for the S13-S15/strawberry face installation... I searched and found lots of links and closed threads, but actual info seemed scattered. So for thoes of you wishing to take on this project, here ya go
www.360realms.com/S13-S15/
If I could do it all again, I'd be done in a weekend, just remember with parts, you get what you pay for. Crappy kits from VIS/GTP/Race-On/SWAAT/etc will end up costing u more in the longrun (plus they're thin as hell!).
Edit - 12/10/06:
Hey all!
Overhauled the website... it's now circa 2003 instead of 1996
Stop by and sign the guestbook, especially if you saw what the old site looked like!

Well, I got a lot of hookup prices, called in favors, and some bartering was done, but if u were to just buy stuff from places at normal advertised prices, I'd recommend the following shops:
www.jspec.com - Sam can get damn near anything
www.phase2motortrend.com - no big surprise, not the best prices, but they're fast, helpful, and reliable. Worth your business, oh, and Wayne is Da Man!
www.enjukuracing.com - same as above, only Ken is "Da Man" over there :P hehee
www.courtesynissan.com - great shop in texas that carries nismo stuff too
and of course cruise all the forums' classified sections.
I'd guestimate that, for someone buying exclusively at advertised prices, the hardware end (no installation, paint, body work, welding, etc), would be in the range of: 1900-2000 w/o the radiator core support, using all the exact same parts I did.
I'd DEFINITELY skip buying one of the pre-packaged "kits". All the parts in those are of the lowest grade/quality, and in this conversion, you most assuredly get what you pay for.

Hi,
I have a questions about the GTP(http://www.aerokits.net/ took me awhile to find it) stuff...so far, theres are alots of negative feeback on their s13.5 fenders. Reason I can see, they are extremely cheap on ebay.
But what about their bumpers? The bumper is also cheap, but does anyone know how well is the fitment?
What about Raceon products? Are their fenders pretty easy to manage? I need to get this conversion done asap, so if you could help, i would greatly appreciate it! Thanks

Niice stuff man. I read over your site, and have a great appreciation for the custom fabbing! In fact, it looks like making yours fit right was a little more of a hassle than my skyline parts was. nicely done!
