So I played with my JDM cluster before installing it

I've got a Greddy EGT gauge (soon to have more than one) which lights up amber. I bought a JDM cluster off ebay for $32, cleaned it up bought amber LED's and swapped 'em in. Oh and turned the cluster back to all 0s for the hell of it. I was going to make all the dummy lights blue leds but I didn't like the look so I swapped most of back to the normal lights. I must of missed one because the clock is blue now.

Pix.

Why I change it all to amber:

The Cluster:

Sorta the whole setup:

Enjoy it!

It's sweeter cause it's kilometers instead of miles.

just make sure when you sell it which you will not,, to be sure to tell the owner.... rolling back an odometer is a federal offense... well here in the states. but who cares about car laws other then stop signs and red light.... Not me

yeah. i'm not worried about it. if i keep working on it as i plan to. this thing probably won't have an oem cluster at all. and as much work as i have planned for it, the last thing the buyer will be concerned of will be the rolled back cluster. i'm cursed with this honestly thing so obviously they'd be notified either way.

I just noticed that your ac buttons and all light up, mine dont. Think its the fuse or a bad wire somewhere?

It is might be burnt out bulbs if only the AC doesn't light up, but if the gauge cluster doesnt light up too then its probably a head unit related wiring problem.
