what are you talking about shift? i want to know if an stock sr20 would have more power than a ka if i put a turbo on teh ka?

but you do realzie if you want to go ka-t and run high boost you need to change out the crank,rods, and pistons, metal head gasket.. ect.. ect..

that would be part of the rebuilding process , wich is why im leaning towards the sr20 now. i think thats what i want is the sr20.

And a if you rebuild your KA with some nice rods, pistons, headgasket, cams, ect... it will have close to, or even more with proper tuning, power than a stock sr20det...without even turbo'ing the KA... it's not too difficult...search the forum, there's plenty of info on how to make an N/A KA with lots of power... It depends what you wanna do. ie, Drift, drag, ect.. and how much you're willing to spend.

ok so that kit from heavythrottle was $4,737.00 for teh base kit, is that a decent price for a kit like that? or is that place a little spendy?

pissshhh with $4,737 you could just do your whole KA and go ka-t and run high boost... that's wayyyy out of hand for a basic sr20.. $4,737 and the stage 1 kit is $7,800.. that's just tooo muchhh.

all i can say is if i was gonna spend 4,737 on that i would want the front clip along with it to covert the steering to RHD
