what doesn't say that? They guarentee that you will get everything you need for the swap for $2500.

At heavythrottle.com it says this:

"S13 Red Top SR20DET complete $2500 plus shipping. Includes all electronics and ignition parts, uncut harness, transmission, warranty and tech support. "

You get a warranty, and tech support if you have ANY problems.

so that right there will pretty much just bolt into my car and drive away with no extra parts? and would it come with an intercooler, and what kind of turbo usually comes with those?

they come with the stock t25 turbo, good to about 15psi of boost. which should put out about 230hp safely. and yes, it will drop in and you can drive away happy. Read through the site.

They have a phone number and a shop. Give them a call on monday and ask them questions.

Yeah, that's what is says.. but I haven't heard anything about that place. The only reason I suggested heavythrottle.com is because of all the good responses and happy customers.. plus they have tech support.

Plus for only $300 more, I would rather trust a place with a great reputation on these and other 240 forums.

front clips are hella expensive to ship, especially if the body panels are still attachec... but sometimes you get brakes, driveshaft, differintial..ect.

you can find ka's anywhere why not just find a lower mileage ka, and drop it in. everyone go's sr these days, do what u feel if your up for doing something a lot of people dont then stick with the ka. i got my motor with 78k on it for 300 and it runs awesome and im almost done with my turbo setup. or you can spend a couple grand on the sr, which would be cool too its all up to you, but you dont have to rebuild the ka the stock block is prutty strong. good luck with whatever you decide

What's wrong w/ KA?

The motor actually seems to be a good match for the car. Stock numbers are a bit on the weak side, but with a nice NA build, it should complement the car very nicely.

2.4L NA built would be sweet on the chassis.

People who talk about high peak HP is either a drag racer & show car queen (dyno queen).
