I dont know Ramos, my dad's Yukon has the Bose system and I think it sucks. The system in my 240 sounds better. Their biggest selling point is their name. You know the old saying- no highs, no lows, it must be Bose.

the 300z i was in had exceptionally clear sound with crisp treble and solid bass. i wouldn't spend the money on bose, but if the car already came with it i wouldn't complain.

Well, I don't mean to take this off-topic, BUT.

...It's true an amplified Bose system sounds BETTER than stock, but in general the speakers will only last you a few years(if even), if you are a real audio head.

Unless I see them start using something else other than paper to make their speakers, I'd still go aftermarket over stock amplified system.

But then again, it is a GTR--I don't know if I'd have the guts to rip it apart. At least not yet, lol. Seems so perfect the way it is. That, and who cares about AUDIO when you're listening to that TT V-6 Engine...lol

engine redlines at 7k

reading up on the tech on the turbos... integrated turbo with the exhaust manifold for better response and smaller package to mount the engine lower. also has an electric air pump to warm up the cat on start up. sounds like a newer version of the aiv/pair valve.

They basically said that they were gonna split the two brands apart and the reason why is so that the GTR can fall under the new "super car" category. I.E., limited production numbers etc.

This is the reason why the G35 is known world wide as the Skyline and this new car is classified only as the GT-R. Some magazines have tied this machine back to its roots and mistakenly called it the Skyline GT-R, truth in the matter is that the two names have gone separate ways.

The BOSE system sounds way better, but will only last the same amount of time like stock speakers. Plus I rather keep the extra $ to drop in my own system for a beast like that! LOL
