240 swap on a auto. Can it be done eazy.
also at www.heavythrottle.com
if you check throught the SR20DET Swap FAQ, they have a general write up swapping the motor and going from Auto to Manual trans.
Its not hard, especially if you have a complete motorset with a manual trans.
Just need to install slave/master cylinder, pedal etc

your going to have to cut a hole in the firewall for the master cyl and bolt in the clutch pedal (also need to get a small brake pedal or cut it)
Someone did a write-up on this on the site and heavythrottle gives more info as well. As for Blacktop vs. Redtop, search on here and you will find your answers.

Yeah, i have a tad bit more to add.
Your going to need new bellhousing bolts, because the automatic ones will not work(i believe that some of them are too short). You are going to need the sleeve that needs to be pressed into the throwout bearing. Also, like meantioned above, your are going to have to cut holes in your firewall for your clutch master cylinder. When you look at your firewall where the master cylinder will go, you will see 2 'tubes' that you need to drill out the bottoms of for the mc bolts and then just take like a drimmel and cut out the circlular area where the mc plunger goes. if you have any other questions feel free to pm me and i will help you out. Oh yea, you are also going to need a drive shaft, the automatic drive shaft is either too short or too long, i can remember which.
