I daily drive mine. Stock motor with I/H/E its my second daily driven 240 (first one was in an accident that wasn't my fault... may she RIP). I love having it as a daily. Just sucks having tiny back seats when I have to haul my friends around. Otherwise its great

22-ish city, 27-28 highway for milage. 145k motor, car is in okay condition, I have a lot of work on my hands to get it into good condition, but it will get there Mechanically its very reliable for everyday driving.

It can def. be a Daily Driver, it just comes down to how mechanically sound the car is. Mine had 200k but it still ran like a champ, but along the way to 200k, the previous owner had to replace like 2 million parts.

As for cops, I wish they wouldnt bust so much *****, its the select few asswipes who street race and cause accidents that make the whole tuner scene look like F & F retards. I just want to enjoy my car and the time and money I put into it w/o getting tickets.

Jay leno's tank car is putting down something like 1500rwtq, and its in a vehicle thats 100 times lighter than stock.

And to the OP i have a 97 cavalier and my 91 240, the cavalier is technically my daily driver, but I drive the 240 twice as much. I say go for it.

Speaking of Jay Leno, I wish he would adopt me. He owns like every car evermade.*sigh* He has another custom tank car with a Spitfire motor (out of the British Fighter Plane) thats putting down 1600horse as of right now, I think he said he wants to work it to get more HP!!!

oh Biggamehit, we are having a tank-motor swapped 240s meet in a few weeks I expect to see you there.

Daily 240's are awesome!

Ive had my 93 s13 for two years as a daily driver, all stock at the moment. Only issues ive had were regular wear and tear, brakes, slave cylinder, tires. Thats all the issues ive had. I drive my car like I stole it every where I go. Actually im surprised how reliable its been, especially in these cold Canadian winters. Im sideways all winter
