3 point racing harnesses install help.

Okay,

I'm going to buy a pair of 3 point racing harnesses, and was wondering if anyone has used them when there stock seats, and it was comfortable? and if so, how you installed them?

Is it possible to use 4 point?

I've never heard of a 3 point racing harness. Isn't 3 point a stock seatbelt?

oh i've seen those before I thought they were still 4 point...I've seen that mounted to the factory location of the rear seat belt buckle in a fastback but I dunno if that would be to much of an angle

My buddy did it in his 240(fastback). I've only sat in it and it was pretty comfortable, couldn't really move much so it isn't exactly great for daily driving since you need to look around a lot.

i have simpson 5 points in my 96. MAKE SURE YOU MOUNT THE BELTS CORRECTLY OR IT COULD KILL YOU. i dont drive with mine on cause it has to be tight against you to work properly and then you are severly limited in movment. it makes it hard to look around you cause you cant lift a shoulder. i still have my stock 3 point installed and i use that every day but i use the 5 for spirited driving. oh and i do have my stock seats

So it's not a smart Idea to do it if i'm going to be driving it daily? The reason is that the driver side seat beal motor doesn't work, or it just won't move. So I figured I just get these because they're nicer, instead of always having to connect and disconnect it from the top.

If it's a daily driver, no.
