300zx calipers

what would i have to do to rig these up. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1876011515

do i absolutly need the whole hub, or can i just drill some 300zx rotors to our 4 lug pattern? my dad is an edm specialist, so i get almost anything fabricated if i need it.

let me know.

If you're looking at just calipers for $300+. You might as well just buy the kit from heavythrottle.com

If you do that you gotta go and get them drilled and get new lines. If you buy it from heavy throttle, u get brembo rotors and everything u need for like $530. i say its better to do that than spend 300 bucks on just rotors.

IF i get the calipers from a junkyard, they will not be $300.

my question was, can i rig up 300zx calipers to the s13 hub? and how?

Yes 300zx calipers bolt right up. You will need to redrill the rotors and get new lines though. I think any lines for the 300z will work.

do i need a new master cyliner?
in the 300zx brake swap that they did in SCC, they mentioned something about needing to upgrade the master cylinder b/c the 240 one is too small or something, and the back brakes would engauge before the front.

Z32 calipers bolt right on to the S13/S14 spindle.

You will need Z32 rotors drilled to 4x114.3 lug pattern.

You will also need special hybrid lines for the swap. The caliper side needs to be Z32, the body side needs to be S13/S14. Luckily there are a couple of brake line companies producing brake lines made for this swap.

It's not necessary. I know plenty of people who have done this swap on the stock MC. Your brakes will just catch a little further into the pedal travel.

If that's a problem for you, you can swap to the Z32 mc as well, but you will have to re-plumb a couple of hard brake lines because of the different port arrangement.

I've been hanging around 240sx forums and mailing lists for a very long time... I wish I knew a lot more of this stuff by first hand experience.

Oh, and I'm With Stupid told me most of it.... I'm actually the 'Stupid' he's referring to.
