I just bought a 90- 240SX. Need to know if the shift **** is the same as all others. (Screw off) The shift **** has to go. I tried to screw it off, but it seems to have too much resistance. Want to know if I should just turn it harder....

 

yea it twist off

 

It is VERY hard to remove most of them, keep on trying it will come off sooner or later

 

use a rag (if you plan on using stock later) and a vice grip..
i didnt use the rag cuz i noe im not gonna use it again..
and make sure you go counter-clockwise.. this so-called friend of mine told me.. 'its not like a honda.. you have to turn it clockwise..'
