Maybe the key is stuck because you have to press a botton to take it out rite behind it.And my speedometer also does not work but my ododmeter does, I think your problem is the sensor rite under the passenger seat on the tranny. I heard you can get these from any nissan dealership for like $60 I havnt replaced it because im only 15 and I dont feel like replacing something like that rite now.

maan you got ripped. you do understand that those miles that currently show.. are not rite. if the speedometer cluster doesnt work.. the miles wont go up. so now you can just guess for how long the previous driver drove it without gettin miles....

anyway, the previous owner prbably was smart like me and disconnected the speed sensor just to go over 115mph and not gain any miles.

it will take you to my thread about speed sensors. there you can find a diagram of speed sensor and the connector that someone might unplug.

just do the reverse of the (***EASY WAY***) directions that you will find on that thread.

if errythin is alrite with the connector, take it to the shop for diagnostic.

i do understand that it isnt the right miles it doesn really matter when i drop a new engine in it and the speed sensor is not unpluged but i do relize that it does not register the miles anymore plus i got the car for $450 so i dont think i really got ripped thanks
