Okay. I just got a 91 240sx coupe with a sunroof. It tilts up and down fine but then i put it back it doesn't go all the way. I went to a mechanic and he said that it is how it was made. He then showed me the length between the back of the sunroof and the rear window and it did make sense. IS THIS REALLY THE CASE????? and if not how can i get it fixed.

 

My coupe had a "moonroof" and it went all the way back but it didn't go up, but it was an '89 and not a '91... all I can think of is that something could be stopping it from opening all the way, see if you can get a book(Chiltons <try to find something else) that tell's you how to remove it so you can see what is wrong and fix it.
