Relently my 91 240 has been running very very badly, idoling is very rough and the car has NO power. The first thing I checked was commpression which was perfect in all cyclinders so next thing i did was get new plugs and wires and still running bad. Then checked to make sure all cyclinders are getting spark which they all are. So finally i just started unpluging the wires from the spark plug while the car was runnning and if i pulled either the second or forth wire out the car would keep going for a split second then die but when i took out the first or third wire nothing happen (this is when i found out it was running on 2 cyclinders) so im thinking its the injectors but have no idea how to get them out to check them.

im looking for the help i am tired of driving my girlfriends domestic probe so please someone save me.

 

disconnect the fuel injector wire connectors. take off the 2 screws and the cap. then pull them out with a vise grip. it maybe stuck on from old age so you might have to take off the fuel rail entirely.

 

Check the grounds to the injectors.
