i can weld you up a straight pipe for like $150 shipped.

but the elephant decided that the monkey had failed its mission and therefore the ant would reign supreme over the muffler with the holes.

DOOO IT!!!
the price could be more than the ebay cat back because most likley the muffler will be getting welded to the old rusted stock pipe. if it's too old you wont be able to weld on it. if that's the case be prepared to spend another $100 or so depending on the shop.

i say ditch the muffler and get the catback.

Plus if the muffler is shot to hell I would put money on the pipe breaking in half at the cat flange very soon.

If you have a s13 or s14 i would spend some money on a catback system , go on ebay they sell for around $160-200 depending on your seller. If there something wrong with ur cat then spend some money on a test pipe or go to a junk yard if your trying to save some money.
