i got into a accident with my 240sx ive put on a new front end but theres a problem wit my shifter its slightly slanted to the right and it makes going into reverse a little big hard


what should i do?

A: buy lower tension rods that r adjustable?

B:buy a short shifter? and bend it a little?

C:it cant be fix?

or can someone tell me what and where is the problem mostly?

i hit a rail the front right side... iono how my shifter is slanted mroe to my right... haha im guessing in impact the tranny tried to turn a little?

check the tranny mount and cross member... the mount might have broken or the cross member might have been shifted or gotten bent... check for frame damage as well... look close to where the frame meets the firewall..it could be tweeked just enough to shift the transmission over... last thing to check is the motor mount... that might have also been bent... and could allow the trans to shift over to the side as well as let the motor drop down to the right...

 

ic... thanks i was thinking that too hope its not too bad... its drive able but is louder. for one its my strut bar and sumthin else when i rev

i noe my valve cover is touching my strut bar
