bought another 240

Hey,

Well, I just picked up my new 240 yesterday.. and got to drive her 8 hours home right after... it's a 1991 240sx se... it was weird at first, with the HICAS.. it felt like the back of the car was sliding around when I turn..having LSD is nice, felt awesome when I spun the tires.

it's 100% stock...has 103,000 miles, and i'm the 3rd owner..Interior is perfect...only problem is it has a dent in the driver door, but it looks like an easy fix. I love this car already.. I've had an 89 coupe for awhile, but it doesn't compare to the ka24de... first thing I did was put a K&N filter on when I got home, and got that air box out of there.

Buying...
3" catback exhaust.
Short shifter.
Eibach spring, kyb shocks/struts. (had them on the 89 and loved the ride)

I'm thinkin about painting the stock rims black... but how to I go about doing that, what kind of paint do I use?

Anyways, what else would you guys recommed me getting for now, before I start engine work?

Note: I got the pics off the autotrader ad I bought the car from, so some may have already seen. I'll take some in a few days.

how much did u get it for? nice 240 btw.
if it was up to me on wat to do with that car, i'd just go nismo as much as possible. especially with a twin cam enigne. u get more options on nismo parts compared to a single cam (like i have).

yeah... I got it for $2300...I haven't really decided what I want to do...I need to get rid of my 89 so I have some money for exhaust and such. it was hard for me to drive because it's so quite.. i'm used to having pretty loud exhaust.

i went the other way... from an 89 hatch to a 93 coupe.... had i waited a little bit i could have bought yours... i dont mind traveling to pic up cars... if you havent sold it in a month or so i might just drive up there and buy it from you... can never have too many 240's,

lol there's a true 240sx addict there,

although if I wasn't in school (college=broke) I'd probably do the same thing.

oh yeah, and sweet looking ride you got there!! It looks like it's really clean cut. Like my 240sx did when I first bought it with 93,000 on it. Can't say the same any more...

yeah... I think it will look fine lowered with those wheels... I really like the stock rims for some reason.. I don't think i'll paint them black .. I just saw them black on a red car and they looked nice.
