Advice for those who remove timing chain guides
Ok so after a few weeks of researching how to remove the timing chain guides, I had some time this week to give it a try. However, like usual, I got lazy and I only removed the top guide directly under the valve cover. I thought that it was too good to be true for just removing the top guide to get rid of the rattling noise. It turns out that I was right and to get rid of the noise you have to remove both of the upper guides (not the lower) and spray some wd40 on the tensioner to get it working again. So for those of you who are lazy like me, do the whole job of removing both guides and fix the tensioner, otherwise you will end up doing twice the work.
