normally, i'd say:

SEARCH!

lol, as if u didn't know me by now. but, i just tried it and the thread that i knew had info on chassis codes didn't come up. so i'll stick it up here:

http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...&threadid=1470

i don't remember which thread explained the engine codes, so i'll just make a feeble attempt at breaking it down:

example: RB25DET
RB = engine series
25 = engine displacement (2.5L)
D = DOHC (the absence of thise letter means SOHC as in the KA24E)
E = multiport electronic fuel injection
T = turbo

i know u probably did search, so i'm not gonna give u a hard time. there are sites on the web that break down engine codes and chassis codes pretty good, though. i saw one that had a nissan engine code that had an 'I' where the "E" would be and that supposedly stood for direct port fuel injection or something (i don't remember exactly). good stuff, man...

even better still, i found some sites:

engine codes
http://www.freshalloy.com/cars/nissa...n_how_eng.html

chassis codes
http://sr20det.nismo.org/nissanengines.htm (S13 info at bottom of page)
http://www.freshalloy.com/cars/nissan/super_matrix.html (might have the P and R confused on S chassis cars, but still a damn good list!)

and i was wrong about the E and I thing in regards to fuel injection. according to the site above, I is for throttle body injection, not[ direct port. that would be a "D"...
