no way, the only thing you will lose is ground clearance.

I got a KA24DE and when I put my 3" N1 on I gained power. There was a noticeable difference in acceleration and yes, you will have clearance issues if your car is lowered. Now you have to start mastering the diagonal entrance/exit to avoid scraping the muffler....it's going to happen, you just have to get better at it.

LAWL... theres one onramp i detest because my 240 is lowered and every time i hit the end of the ramp, my exhaust clamp would tap the ground (the end of the ramp has a big dip). Damned louisiana roads

ok, so i put it on after staring at it for so long.. and honestly its a beautiful pipe.

i hav ethe silencer on and i have plenty of back pressure. power feels good but top end has its loss. i have no pull on fifth and barely any on fourth.

why the hell would i have been sarcastic? and i dont see why you would lose power from having a less restrictive pipe. just think about it for a while. the only reason i would imagine the larger diameter hindering the exhaust flow is because the gasses would cool down faster...but that would not have made that big of a noticable difference.

where did you get the catback from?- i got mines from japanimportshop on ebay. - and why are you having a problem getting the silencer off? - also i noticed a significant loss in low-end torque and off-the-line acceleration, too. but you do regain some when the silencer is in.

Those silencers suck *****. What I did is bought some heat wrap (read: header wrap) and wrapped it around the outside until it fit tight in the exhaust. Looked like **** and was still load. I took it out and learned to live with the noise.
