anyone fit a carseat?

i want a 240sx or 300zx. can a carseat fit into one? then that would be leverage with the wife to convince her if we had to put my daughter in my car we can.

no, not the legal/safe way.
a car seat will fit sideways behind the front seats, HOWEVER it will not buckle in securely.
And while many of us (including me) use a 240 for a daily, i would not recommend it, esp. for a family.

Umm a carseat will fit forward and legal. Me and my son drive in my car all the time. And it is secure. But I do agree with Texas240 it isn't for a fam. If dad gets a 240 or 300z, mom will have to have somethin bigger for family outings. I have to slide the front pass seat forward to where only a short person will fit. And i also make sure the front pass seat clicks into place to protect my son. BTW I have an S14, which has less rear space than a S13. I've also seen plenty of S13 & S14's with carseats, when we have 240meets. Goodluck!!!

Dude, you could do it for an s13, I have a car seat in the back when I take my kid to the doc. It fits, but it's not a fam car. I got a fam but i still got mine for me, my only present for myself!

well it would be my dd. my wife has a blazer we use to go everywhere in. but if i hook the car up and want to go to a carshow ot the track with my family id like to know i can safly put my daughter in the back instead of having them follow me or not come at all.
i drive about 1000 miles a week to and from work so a "economical" 4banger is what im playing up

safely yes, comfortably not really. Well I 6'2" and my 4yr old is the size of a 6yr old. He's safely in the car but if his mother rolls with us she's not comfortable

Completely agree with you because sometimes I have to take my godson out with the car seat. It's definitely not comfortable at all.

One thing I should let you know right off hand, if you didnt know. Your child will be right directly under the rear window. If it should shatter on a rear impact the glass could fall on them. Not good. This is ofcourse if you get a fastback.

Also on the link if you hadent you need to register. Which you should anyway, if you have an intrest in these cars.
