Anyone knows a Pro Color Mathcer?

Im adding a little skirt package on my 1990 240sx (actualy it's the OEM skirt packeage that was available from 1991 to 1994) The first owner of my car who was the guy that I bought my 240sx from had a custom paint job done. My car is red but when you look at it from a little different angle it starts to look orange. Anyway now Im having a hard time getting the color to match I took my gas door off and took it to PPG paints so they can scan the color and reproduce it for me but because it has a pear orange in it their scaners can not pick up the color and match it to be exact, they told me they can try to match it manualy but it might not be 100%. So what I want to know is if anyone knows or has heard of any place that can color match custom paint to the exact color because the worst thing is when your car is one color and the skirt package is another. Any help would be appreciated.

You found original skirts? cool.

Anyway. Is PPG the brand of the paint? Does the previous owner know? Or maybe have some extra paint laying around? whenever it's custom like that most paint shops give the owner what was left over, for future problems.
But in essence ,if it a multistage paint job( or tan 1 color). The odds of matching it are slim to none if you dont have any left from the original batch.

Yeah I found OEM skirt package I whent through hell trying to get it but I got it!

About the paint, I don't know who manufactured it but I figured since PPG is the world biggest automotive paint manufacturer there is a better chance of them being able to match it. I tryed getting a hold of the old owner but he moved and I don't have his new number. Since PPG couldn't do it I will give Du Pont paints a shot and see what happens.
