Hi, i want to start drifting and want to get 240 sx for that. but i have a very limited budget. I thought i could get stock 240 and practice on vet surface, say after it rains. for that i won;t need as much power.
What could you suggest the best way to start drifting with limited budget. ?

also then getting 240, what should i look at, so to get one in decent condition?

what is better? to buy stock and do swap and other mods or get already modified, taking in considerating that I won;t be able to do mods on my own. i would have to use shop services?

Buy a stock 240, fix whats wrong, go to local events and get all the seat time you can. However, if your budget is very limited, it may not be for you.

get a cheap s13, get someone to weld the diff untill you can afford a LSD. get ****ty tires, start practicing and welcome to the bandwagon i guess. but most people who are on the drifting bandwagon dont really drift at all.

I have 2 1995 240sx one is manual and other one Automatic, Manual is my personal car and automatic is for sale.
Automatic is Red color with 100,000 miles in very good conditions price is fair.

Automatic isnt useless, youve gotta start somewhere and if its all you got then thats it.

Drifting is not for people on budgets, tires get expensive, **** breaks, it gets more expensive.

 

you can use tools to change out the transmission
