Big dilema...

So... I'm at a point in life where I should start living simple... that being said, I think the GS needs to go and have it replaced with something I dont need a car payment to get.

Which brings me back to my roots with this site. My best friend has had an S14 for years that has sat in his driveway and collect dust. I'm thinking about getting the KA rebuilt and driving that thing till it gives up, which I am hoping will be about 2-3 years from the point of getting it back on the road.

So what do you guys think? Stay with the GS? Or save the money?

i beg to differ!

A stock 240 is way more reliable then a honda hell ill tell you right now out of all my 240s ive owned i very rarely have ever seen a factory part fail. As for the Hondas as many of you already know i have been a professional mechanic for Honda for many years and yes they are reliable and good on gas but not to say they are the most reliable car out there.

you want something reliable and easy to work on get a 240 also your insurance would be cheaper with Nissan.

i'm not so sure insurance would be cheaper for a 240, it's technically a sports car.

Im still not getting email updates... wtf???

But yeah, I have two options right now if I sell the GS, 1: EG6 hatchback or S14. The EG6 would be about a grand cheaper and running. The S14 has been in my friend's driveway for about 7 years now...

ah well remember with the EG it its old and even if it dosnt have many miles the timing belt has a time limit IE about 6-7 years and i bet you the car hasnt had it changed so factor that into the cost cause it is a big deal that most dont think of

Timing belt isnt that hard to do, shouldnt cost more than $50 at my cousin's shop (including labor LOL)

Im really leaning towards the EG since I want to start all over again and teach my brother at the same time. I figured the EG platform would be the best starting point for autox
