body style? pro/cons?

Hows it going guys I am just trying to learn as much as I can about the car before I go out and grab one. I have my heart set on one, but I don't know witch I should be looking for newer body or the tolder? witch is better? I know I can get an older one for cheap, but damn I love the look of the newer one. Anything you guys could say to make me go either way? Thanks.

Hey im going through the same thing man. But i think I'm going to go with an earlier year because If i want to get a body kit later on the upgrade to 1997 will be a total waste. The only thing i think ill miss on the 1997 is the lights. The 95 96 lights are hella gay. They definately arent the clear slick lights on the 97. I think its mainly up to you though. But jsut think about the 4,000 you will save getting the lower end of the car. Besides dont all of us get 240sx to cover them into some kind of silvia or freaking skyline hahaha i know i do

S13's are cheaper, lighter, and have stiffer suspension. S14's are more expensive, heavier, and have stiffer a chassis.

Thanks for the input...I'll mostlikely get the older body style. just because of the cost. and it will let me save up for my SE20DET motor quicker...

I love my 96, but I kind of wish I got an s13 so that I could have more money to put into it, but oh well I guess I will just have to start working harder. Oh and I like the 95, 96 lights jkfresh.

S13 = '89-'94
S14 = '95-'98
180sx = Japanese version of the S13 240sx hatch w/ either the CA18DET or SR20DET engines. Production ran from '88-'98.

i've owned both s13 and s14...
one thing i don't like about s13...is the interior room...
s14 is lot more comfortable inside...
