Burnouts and Tire Life

Okay, this is the most newbalicious question probably ever asked but does anybody know exactly how bad a burnout is for your tires? Nobody can really give me a definate answer. If I were to hold a burnout for like 4 seconds and then peeled out and drove off how bad would that be for the tires? I actually googled this question for like an hour and nothing came up. Ive been wondering this for a while and finally got the ***** to ask this retarded question. I should be flaming myself for this.....

it all depends on the temp rating and traction grade of the tires, also if you have a LSD rear end of if you are rockin' the one-wheel peel.- either way its not good, but i have heard that the faster your tires are spinning, the less rubber it burns.

It all depends. I actually carry a tread depth gauge with me for when my retarded friends feel like wasting rubber. I get it before and after. They were only small burnouts, so no info yet. Started doin it like 2 weeks ago.

Either way, it doesnt help the tire's life.

lawl. I hate when i get flatspots. Happened to me in my acura when i came up over a hill on the highway (stupid new orleans roads) only to discover brakelights. All 4 wheels locked up... left a nice smoke cloud and ppl lookin at me funny... but i didnt hit anyone so +1 for me!
