Question Which To Buy?

Hi all,
First time logging on to the site. I am about to buy a 240sx within the next 2 weeks. I was looking at the 95-96 model or 97-98 model. I don't know which one would be easier to modify (I.e. S15 face conversion, Veilside Kit, lowering kit, etc.). Which would you all suggest?

Thanks in advance,
Steve

They're pretty much the same car, minus the front and rear end changes. Other than that, if your just going to be ripping off the stock body parts anyways, get the cheaper one.

i say if you do buy a kouki s14, you leave it alone and just do performance mods. they are beautiful cars when left stock looking and done right.

get the kouki, you can find one for way cheaper than the zenki-so that leaves more money for the s15 front end.

while the zenki is cheaper... the kouki front end can be sold for a pretty penny. i'd go with a 95 96.

I think they both look good, but I'm not sure I have an opinion on which one's better. The Zenki is nice and subtle, I think, but it's still stylish. But, get the SE with 16" alloys, rear wing/spolier, rear sway bar, more options, etc.

The Kouki is also very nice, but not at all subtle. I don't think you can separate them - they both look very good in different ways.

Personally, I would take whatever is available.

For the amount you would pay additional for a Kouki, you can do a front end Kouki conversion......hood, grill, fenders, bumper, headlights, corners

I personally like the Kouki front end, but I like the Zenki tailight cluster better.
