Well, the us Spec 240's are made with goveners to 'keep us safe', or whatever they call em. Is your engine the sr20det?

Also, I wanna live past 18.

Yeah I find it strange as japan is alot closer to you guys than it is to us. When i was first looking for a 200sx club all I could find were family cars called 200sx's form america I was getting confused until someone told me yours were actually 240's

yeah, 200sx's are entry level cars in my mind, I almost bought one, thank god I was patient and waited for a sexy 240, heh.

And i'd rather turbo my KA than pay to have one imported here, I've gone 136mph and thats more than fast enough for me.

its the car tax thing that makes japan a great place to import from... to keep the economy going, Japan has a heavy car tax on car older than what is it 5 years or is 8? anyway it's just easier to buy a new car than pay taxes on an older car... so there are perfectly good cars with perfectly good engines sitting in a salvage yard somewhere...

I understand your point Dr but over here cars like vauxhall calibras are capable of 140mph! and the nutters fly past you doing it. Thats why you need a 200sx S14 it does 160mph without even trying, something a S13 could never do unless it had serious money under the hood. Turbos are definatly the way forward.

My s13 had no sweat getting from 70-130 pretty damn quick. And I agree turbo's are great, however I'd rather rebuild my KA and Turbo it instead of import another car or buy a Sr20.

That is all
