buying a Salvage Title 240?

Its a 96 240 5-spd that was wrecked on the front left, he says the frame is real straight and handles/drives great. The car is freshly painted with Silvia K rear bumper, driver seat, and wing. It has around 80k miles and it just looks very clean. Only turn off is the title. He wants 5k What do u guys think?

find out how hard it is in your state to get a salvage title registered.

I am assuming that you mean it is fixed, 5k seems a little high, for a salvage title, although it only has 80k miles i would only pay 4k honestly. Check at the DMV before you agree as well cause it might be a big pain in the ***.

Thats not bad, i would obviously see it in person, give it a test drive and talk to the DMV to see about salvage title, try n work him down to 4500 but me personally, i would prolly end up paying the 5k for it, look decent. Get it checked out mechanically if he allows it.
