Can some one PLEASE tell me about were my power steering belt is located and how to take it off and if its safe for my car to take it off. thanx

right infront of the intake mani is where the PS pump is located....the belt is on that

my friends car didnt have power steering...and it was hard to turn that wheel..its worth it having the power streeing.

not totally sure on that...ive heard it does but it is a myth

look...take the belt off....open the bleed valve/hardline on the rack.

crank the wheels a bunch of times to get the fluid out


wallah....manual steering

well mabey not a bleed valve...but on the steering rack(under the car) you can unbolt the hardlines the run the P/S fluid.
do that and turn the wheels a bunch of times till the fluid is drained out. that way you wont be fighting against the fluid...making it hard to steer
