I have to park my car outside (my parents get dibs on the garage ), so I'd like to get a car cover for it. I had previously used a cheap old one that my grandparents gave me that they didn't use anymore, but it froze on during winter and ripped to shreds (it was a pretty crappy one anyway).

What can I get that will protect, at the least, against...
- Ultraviolet and other sun rays
- Bird crap, tree sap, and other sticky yucks
- A moderately heavy downpour
- Other things you generally want to keep off the body of your car
