Question car trouble starting question

i got a 93 240sx hatch..i just got the car about a month and a half ago...it hasnt gotten a tuneup yet and i probally need one..but question...for the last 2 days my car wouldnt start in the morning..like yesterday it cranked but it wouldnt start until like 20 mins later...and today it did the same thing but wouldnt even start...but i tried like 5 mins ago..which is like 6pm now and it starts..could it be spark plug problems? or any other ignition problem? or could it just really needs a tune up bad?

im clueless when it comes to things like this..=(

If the fuel pump died it wouldn't start back up once it burned off all the fuel that was already in the lines. His still starts sometimes, so its getting fuel. If you go to turn it on and it don't do anything, try hitting the starter with something and then try turning it on. If it comes on after you hit the starter, your starter will need replaced.

If its the fuel pump, it wouldn't not start one time, and then start 20 mins later. Like I said before, if your fuel pump is out, once the gas that is already in the lines is burnt, the car will not turn on anymore.
